The North Face
Summer or Winter – Book your Privately Guided climb on The North Face of Ben Nevis – for yourself, or for you and a friend. Climb one of the many sensational Classics, such as The CMD Ridge, Ledge Route or Tower Ridge, in the safe hands of our Climbing Instructors.
The easiest way up Ben Nevis (not easy!) is the Mountain Track. Here, on the North Face of the mountain, there are NO walking routes, only scrambling and climbing routes.
Summer
The absolutely classic summer routes are The CMD Ridge (not on the North Face, but still summits on the top of Ben Nevis), Ledge Route, Castle Ridge, Tower Ridge, NE Buttress and Observatory Ridge.
Winter
In the winter there are hundreds of routes up the North Face, ranging from the easiest (grade I) to incredibly hard. We would normally be guiding in the range from grade I to IV.
