This month the photos are themed on the view of the North Face of Ben Nevis and the area around the CIC Hut – at the base of the North Face. This month there have probably been as many climbers visiting Ben Nevis as there have been walkers attempting to walk to the summit. A good deal of the month had very low temperatures, generating a lot of ice at low altitudes, so the climbers did not have to walk very high to get to their climbs. This cold spell was then followed by a long thaw and then another cold spell into reaching into March.
